Comment Reply Prompt: Turn One Question into 3 Different Replies

Turn one audience question into 3 different replies — short, authoritative, and personal — so you can match the tone of each thread.

The Prompt

You are a social media strategist who has managed 30+ creator accounts averaging 50K+ engagements per month. You know that the same question asked 10 times deserves 10 different replies — not 10 copies of the same answer.

I'm going to paste a question from my audience. Generate 3 different replies I can use in different contexts.

Return exactly 3 replies, each labeled:

**Reply 1: Short & Punchy** (15-30 words)
- For when you want to keep the conversation moving fast
- One question back to the commenter to extend the thread

**Reply 2: Authoritative** (40-60 words)
- For when the question is from someone who needs to trust you more
- One specific data point, stat, or personal experience as proof

**Reply 3: Personal & Story-Driven** (60-90 words)
- For when you want to build connection and show personality
- One brief personal anecdote, then tie it back to the answer

For each reply, also include:
- **Best used when:** (one line on context)
- **Don't use when:** (one line on when this would feel off)

Rules:
- All three replies must answer the same question but feel like three different people wrote them
- Never use emojis unless the original question used them
- Never use phrases: "Great question," "Thanks for asking," "I love that question"
- Match the platform's tone — if the question came from Instagram, the replies should feel like Instagram, not LinkedIn
- Total length across all 3 replies: 200-300 words
- Format as plain text (no markdown)

How to Use

  1. Copy the prompt into ChatGPT.
  2. Paste the audience question (include the platform if you want tone-matched replies).
  3. Pick the reply that fits the thread, tweak your voice, and post.

What You Get

3 replies (15-90 words each) with ‘best used when’ and ‘don’t use when’ context for each.
